10:00-11:30 am – Mental, Emotional and Physical Health

Explore ways to improve your health holistically using food, meditation, positive thinking, creativity and healing. Simon will focus his talk on your individual needs.

11:30 am-1:30 pm – Alkaline Forming Low GI, Gluten-Free, Vegan Macrobiotic Cooking Class

Learn new dishes to make meals that are the ultimate in healthy eating according to the latest research. The emphasis for this class is on recipes that are quick, tasty and healthy.

1:30-2:30 pm – Lunch

2:30-3:30 pm – Making Your Macrobiotic Practice Quick and Easy

11:30-12:30 am – Meditation and Healing

Discover quick and simple techniques to restart your mind and experience healing. Just a ten-minute meditation or healing a day, can influence your whole day and even help you become a calmer person. Bring a yoga mat and blanket or towel.

12:30-2:00 pm – Zen Temple Cooking: Simple, Clean Dishes and Teas for Meditation and Tranquility

Learn to create special dishes developed by Zen monks for feeling calm, centered and focused. These foods are ideal if you are busy and looking for freedom from stress.

2:00-3:00 pm – Feng Shui, the Art of Creating Homesthat Support the Life You Want

Find out how to use color, images, decoration, plants, flowers, lighting, household objects and the placement of furniture to create a home that supports you in feeling happy.

3:00-4:00 pm – Tea Ceremony Meditation

POTLUCKS

We strive to hold potlucks on the second Saturday of every month at 6:00 PM. Please come out and join us – it’s a great opportunity to socialize with your fellow macro buddies, meet new people and partake of some of the best dishes in town.

Potlucks are also a big help for people new to macrobiotics, a place where they can get their questions answered and also get inspired to improve their diets and lifestyles.
