The Macrobiotic Foundation of Central Florida is an organization dedicated to providing information, support and activities for its members and the community on the macrobiotic way of living. This begins with a reorientation of everyday eating using natural foods, and continues through accepting responsibility for keeping our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual lives in harmony with ourselves, our families, our community, and with society and nature.

Macrobiotic Workshops in Orlando with Simon Brown!

The Macrobiotic Foundation of Central Florida welcomes Simon Brown from London, England for a 2-day presentation in Orlando!

Simon Brown studied macrobiotics in 1980 in SimonBrown4 London and went to the US to study with Michio Kushi, Aveline Kushi, Shizuko Yamamoto and Denny Waxman. Simon ran the Macrobiotic Association of Philadelphia, while he was in the US. Upon returning to London, he became the director of London’s Community Health Foundation, the leading Macrobiotic center in the UK, from 1986 to 1993. Simon co-authored “Against All Odds” with Dr. Faulkner charting his Macrobiotic recovery from Pancreatic cancer.

We are honored to have a return visit from Simon Brown. Last year’s workshops were very well received.We look forward to other enlightening experiences throughout this upcoming weekend! Potluck Dinners

We strive to hold potlucks on the second Saturday of every month at 6:00 PM. Please come out and join us – it’s a great opportunity to socialize with your fellow macro buddies, meet new people and partake of some of the best dishes in town.

Potlucks are also a big help for people new to macrobiotics, a place where they can get their questions answered and also get inspired to improve their diets and lifestyles. Details
